Mindful eten: stappen om bewust te worden van eten
- Onderzoek het oppervlak van het voedsel - kijk voor het eerst echt naar dit merkwaardige object;
- Ruik eraan en merk hoe je reageert;
- Rol het eten tussen je vingers en luister welk geluid het maakt. Merk de plakkerigheid op;
- Plaats het voedsel tussen uw lippen en houd het daar enkele ogenblikken vast. Wat merk je dat er in je gebeurt?
- Laat het terug in je mond rollen, maar kauw er nog niet op, maar rol het gewoon rond. Is er een smaak? Kwijl jij? Wat wil je doen?
- Oké, bijt maar een keer. Wat valt je op?
Sluit na het doorslikken uw ogen enkele ogenblikken om de gevolgen op te merken van wat u zojuist hebt ervaren. Neem na elke hap contact op met uw lichaam om te zien hoe u zich voelt. Heb je genoeg gehad? Heb je meer nodig? Is het tijd om te stoppen? Ga dan verder met wat je hebt gekozen.
De focus op de sensuele ervaringen van zicht, geluid, geur, aanraking en smaak zorgt voor het volledige bewustzijn van het voedsel op dat moment. Dit proces vertelt je niet wat je zou moeten ervaren; het suggereert alleen dat je je eigen ervaring opmerkt. Het gebruik van een van deze praktijken kan helpen een bewuste benadering van het leven te ontwikkelen door de volledige aandacht op elk moment te vestigen, zonder oordeel, terwijl je een gevoel van kalmte behoudt.
Voordelen van bewust eten
Hoewel het belangrijkste voordeel niet gewichtsverlies is, is het zeer waarschijnlijk dat u door deze oefening overtollig gewicht verliest.
