EERSTE ERVARING MET HET PROLON DIEET

Vraag: Wat is de belangrijkste moraal die je hebt geleerd tijdens deze ervaring door deel te nemen aan de Europese Vastenweek?
V: Ik heb geleerd hoe een kleine portie voedsel net zo bevredigend kan zijn als een hele portie voedsel, alleen als je die maaltijd bewust eet.

V: Meditatiepraktijken waren van fundamenteel belang. Zonder dit dieet had ik het ProLon-dieet niet kunnen voltooien. Doordeweeks zijn mijn meditatieoefeningen altijd vrij kort omdat ik niet veel vrije tijd heb, maar ik reserveer altijd die 10/15 minuten voor mezelf. Ik heb deze 5 dagen in volledige rust en bewustzijn kunnen beleven. Ik had geen bijwerkingen zoals hoofdpijn, zoals ik van sommige mensen had gehoord. Ik voelde me kalm en vol energie, vooral op de vierde en vijfde dag.

V: Het was een geweldige ervaring. Ik zou iedereen aanraden om het te proberen, maar dan op een ‘mindfulness’ manier, om het in het heden te beleven en de kans te krijgen om hun lichaam en geest volledig te regenereren.
