Prepacked and ready to use.

With ProLon you get everything you need prepacked and ready to use. Every ProLon box contains five smaller boxes, one for each day. The boxes are numbered from 1 to 5 so that you know exactly which one to eat each day.

Everything you need is already in the box, including breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. The products have been precisely measured to get your body into a fasting state. Per day you may decide the order in which you consume the products yourself, but do not switch products or consume products on another day.

Congratulations! You have finished your ProLon diet. Well done. We recommend that you slowely go back to eating like usual.

Start the day with lightly digestible food. Mostly vegetables and a little bit of fruit. You could try a green smoothie made with vegetables and a little bit of fruit for breakfast. For lunch you could try a healthy salad and for dinner a handful of rice or pasta with a small piece of fish or vegetables, or alternatively some vegetable soup.

From day 7 on, you can go back to your own healthy eating pattern.

Before you get started

Lower you calorie intake

This is a low calorie diet. You will not eat more than between 750 and 1100 calories per day. You can start several days in advance with lowering your cafeine and calorie intake. In this way, you body has more time to get used to the low amount of calories that you will consume the coming days and this will make it a lot easier.

Start with light meals

During this period, try to lower your sugar and cafeine intake and eat lighter meals such as soups and salads.

Food allergies

The ProLon® 5-day fasting diet has been carefully measured and developed in a way that you should not eat anything that is not in the box, not even if you feel hungry in between meals. The diet is plant based, but contains some allergens such as nuts, sesame, selery and oats. For this reason it is important to check the list of ingredients if you have certain food allergies.

Practicing sports is not recommended

We also do not recommend that you practice sports during the diet. Your body does not receive enough nutrients for this. Should you want to keep working out, we recommend to practice some light sports such as walking or yoga.

Experiences and side effects

When this is your first time fasting you might experience some side effects. Side effects you might experience are a slight headache, fatigue, nausea, feeling hungry, concentration problems or feeling cold.

This is absolutely normal and can be solved by resting well and drinking plenty of water. Light physical activities such as 15 minutes of walking or yoga might help fight side effects.

If you are used to drinking coffee regularly, you could drink one cup of coffee per day to limit side effects. Every time you fast, the side effects will be less.
